What’ll you have?

Bored with the same old drink all the time? Would you like to soften that straight bourbon drink and go with a bourbon cocktail instead? Confused by all the different online recipes for the same cocktail? Is there a quick two-ingredient cocktail to mix?

Welcome to Keet’s Cocktails! I hope I can address some of these questions and issues. It can be frustrating finding many published recipe variations of the same cocktail. I determined the best recipes myself, and that’s what I’ve posted. Sometimes I’ve changed them, or created them on my own. Also, many cocktails call for obscure, not to mention expensive, liquors and mixers. Those drinks I leave to bartenders. This site lifts the home bar without sinking the cash reserves. I also wanted to map the site in a way that someone can cross-reference a drink from either the spirit base or from the type of cocktail that it is. And as a blog, getting feedback while populating the site with more great cocktail recipes would seem to be a win-win for all.

So, I hope you’ll look around the site and find a cocktail that inspires you to create at home. It’s not about drinking more, but about having a better drink.

    Keeton,
Greetings, I’m Vincent’s brother and met you years ago. I enjoyed reading your blog and appreciate your approach to keeping it simple. Too many recipes call for expensive liquors that are never used for anything else and make little to no difference.

    Greg
