GUIDE TO GETTING STARTED

The bulk of my drinks use one of the following liquor bases: vodka, bourbon, blended scotch, blended whiskey, brandy, tequila or rum. The more common mixers are Cointreau, curacao, Campari, vermouth, amaretto, grenadine, Angostura bitters and orange bitters. The common citrus flavorings are lime, lemon or orange. Common sweeteners are sugar, simple syrup, demerara sugar/syrup, agave syrup, maraschino liqueur or juice from cherry jar. Common garnishes are martini olives, lime, lemon, orange or maraschino cherries.

The recipes on this site will require some or all of the following: jigger & pony measurer, cocktail shaker, lemon/lime squeezer (optional), appropriate glassware (optional), ice in various forms.
