One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer

One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer – John Lee Hooker

A Little Fun:

I immediately thought of this old 1953 blues song yesterday when I was gifted one bourbon and one scotch for my birthday (the beer I already had). So I couldn’t resist creating a video of a shortened version of the song, featuring my two new whiskies: Elijah Craig Small Batch bourbon, and Aberfeldy 12-year aged Scotch, both excellent and highly undervalued.

The music is a great old blues song by Rudy Toombs and recorded originally by Amos Milburn. The John Lee Hooker version is probably the most famous. Enjoy!

Thanks Peter. The family is home and safe, as I hope yours is too. While at home, have yourself one bourbon, one Scotch and one beer while listening to John Lee Hooker. Someone’s got to do it! 🙂
