Autumn Rickey

The AUTUMN RICKEY is a more full-bodied transition of the club soda and lime combo using bourbon. While the highball rickey is usually associated with gin and summer drinks, this one has the taste of fall from its maple syrup and bourbon. It can be stirred directly into the serving glass or shaken and then poured followed by the club soda into the same.

Requirements: bourbon, Grade B maple syrup, club soda, lime juice, 2 lime wheels

• 1.5 oz. bourbon
• 1 oz. fresh lime juice
• 1/2 oz. maple syrup
• 2 lime wheels
• Club soda filled to top, chilled

If using a shaker to chill, add all ingredients except club soda to an ice-filled shaker. Shake and strain into in ice-filled highball glass. Top off with chilled club soda. Stir gently. If stirring directly into the serving glass, add everything except club soda to the ice-filled highball glass, top with club soda and stir gently. Garnish or drop into glass two lime wheels.
