Autumn Rickey

The AUTUMN RICKEY is a full-bodied combination of club soda and lime with bourbon. While the classic highball rickey typically features gin and is associated with summer, this version evokes the flavors of fall with its maple syrup and bourbon. The drink can be stirred directly into the serving glass or shaken and poured, followed by the addition of club soda.

Requirements: bourbon, Grade B maple syrup, club soda, lime juice, 2 lime wheels

• 1.5 oz. bourbon
• 1 oz. fresh lime juice
• 1/2 oz. maple syrup
• 2 lime wheels
• Club soda filled to the top, chilled

If using a shaker to chill, combine all ingredients except for the club soda in an ice-filled shaker. Shake well, then strain into an ice-filled highball glass. Top off with chilled club soda and stir gently. If stirring directly in the serving glass, add all ingredients except the club soda to the ice-filled highball glass, top with club soda, and stir gently. Garnish by placing two lime wheels into the glass.
