Cocktails at home

It’s going to be a while before bars re-open.  More likely, restaurants will have openings sooner with customer limitations and a designated 6-foot table spread.  But the crowded bar and close-bar seating will probably wait a while longer. So now’s a good time to stock your bar and make your own drink … after wiping them down of course.

Since opening my keetscocktails.com website/blog, I’ve wanted to provide a tool for people making their favorite cocktail at home, or for people trying a new cocktail at home.  To that end, you can go online via computer or smartphone and find a cocktail by clicking the main spirit used.  By clicking or tapping the drag-down arrow next to “Spirits”, you can within seconds find the recipe for 50+ cocktails. You can likewise search for a “type” of cocktail by clicking/tapping under “Daily Mix.”

Also, I’ve set up this site as a blog so that people can “subscribe” to receive new additions to site content.  You can do so on the computer at the left sidebar, or on smartphone if you scroll to the bottom. Doing so also helps me know how many might be reading the blogs and can help me find sponsorship to the site. So I wouldn’t be angry if you forward my link to friends who might be interested. 🙂
