Genoa Vodka
If you like Campari cocktails (Negroni, Boulevardier) and want to apply it to vodka, the GENOA VODKA is it. Or if you’re on the fence about Campari because you think it too bitter, the Genoa Vodka is a nice way to go. It’s a Screwdriver that’s been nicely complicated with just enough Campari to offset the fruity sweetness and give it balance without becoming bitter. And it’s as easy to remember as 1-2-3.
Requirements: Vodka, Campari, fresh orange juice, orange slice for garnish
- 1 oz. Campari
- 2 oz. vodka
- 3 oz. orange juice
- orange slice for garnish
Combine all liquid ingredients in an ice-filled shaker. Shake vigorously and strain into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass. Garnish with an orange slice.
Comments: This is a delicious Campari drink for the Campari enthusiast or those, as I say, who aren’t necessarily big fans. On the fruity side. the orange juice doesn’t take over the drink like a Screwdriver, but is nicely offset by the Campari.
