Drinks of the Stars

What cocktails do you think actors turn to most often to take the edge off? What would they drink at the Oscars after-party? Here’s a list, as best as can be determined. They range from low-profile drinkers (no idea what Jonathan Pryce, Joaquin Phoenix or Joe Pesci drink) to cocktail enthusiasts — Brad Pitt, Florence Pugh, Antonio Banderas, Charlise Theron. There are those in between and also some reformed drinkers who haven’t had one in years.

• Cynthia Erivo – water
• Adam Driver – beer, whiskey
• Saoirse Ronana – wine (and we’re guessing Jameson & soda) since age 18 (Ireland)
• Quentin Tarantino (director) – margarita
