Oktoberfest

The 190th OKTOBERFEST began in Munich on September 20th and will end on October 5th. However, Oktoberfest celebrations are taking place everywhere over the next three weeks, allowing people to enjoy their favorite brews along with a Bratwurst or crispy potato pancake. If you encounter an accordion player and folk dancers with men dressed in suspenders and shorts, you may have stepped into the heart of Bavarian folk history, where it all began. The key is to have a variety of beers to choose from and perhaps discover a new favorite one in the process.
